Rustic Lakehouse Kitchen

Tranquil Chautauqua Lake is the setting of this vacation home. The family enjoys entertaining but found their space unsuitable for large gatherings. By removing a wall and restructuring another, we created an open floor plan to accommodate an island and flexible seating area. The large stone island enables socializing with family and friends while preparing a meal. Rustic cherry cabinetry, chiseled-edge granite countertops, hickory flooring and natural stonework enhance the character of the space. This one-of-a-kind entertainment center is now the heart of this vacation home.
