Elegant Transitional Kitchen

The original kitchen of this late-‘80s home lacked storage space. The adjacent laundry room was redesigned to create space for a recessed refrigerator and pantry. Desiring a bright, updated kitchen, this family chose transitional, white, recessed-panel cabinetry, featuring a touch-activated electronic cabinet above the refrigerator. The new, two-tiered island offers bar seating and a vegetable sink for ease of food preparation. To complement the new kitchen, the nearby powder room and staircase balusters were also updated.
