Arts & Crafts Master Suite Addition

This split-level home was in need of more space. Our clients desired a master bedroom addition that would incorporate an improvement the face of the home. In keeping with the original roof structure, a bedroom was built with a vaulted ceiling, recessed lighting and three double-hung Andersen windows. A sliding door with prairie glass leads to a side stamped concrete patio, providing additional natural light and a private sitting area. Easy-care Adura vinyl plank flooring and four-inch baseboard trim were installed throughout. The master bath shower features gray tones of subway tile, a Delta Intuition showerhead with a removable sprayer, a corner bench and a product niche. The farmhouse vanity with its open basket shelf provides extra storage space. A Delta Victorian faucet with cross handles was selected. Completing the arts and crafts style of the home, ledge stone bases, wooden columns and caps were installed in this master suite addition.
